CDMMAN - Why are the weekly and YTD percentage players selected based on a team number dramatically different than the actual teams in a division? For instance in Div 7, there are 118 teams, but your percentages are based on a denominator of 423 teams. I also agree with the previous post that it would enhance the enjoyability of the game if, after the selection deadline, we could see what players the other teams have selected. I think Scott will be a very popular pick. No stratagy involved alot of luck involved , get a couple winners and you've got a good chance ( other than Woods of course ) I would like to see this game changed to picking four players every week that would give you a chance to go for some sleepers. PGA Niners..I assume your're talking about before the week's play is completed. I don't know how to get that info without digging. The first week 130 teams had Sabbatini and I was interested to see what they picked the 2nd week so I went to resuts, clicked on overall, then clicked on Division. this took me to league and clicked on the team under "all picks" and that will give you that team's pick for the current week. I see no response to my earlier email (which could be timing as it is now only 6:45 at your end), so I'll repeat it here just to be safe. I'm typing this at about 10 in the morning Athens time, just before the first tee times. It looks like we will see about three hours of play frrm EE/GL (paired together) and more from Goose and Donald. I have similar problems...better overall lineups with VJ benched but, obviously with some risk. The best part about benching him is that there is almost no chance of a win and, with the Brit's rather flat payoffs, you have a good chance of nearly duplicating his earnings with more guys of the GL/EE/Luke/Goose ilk if he is benched. My current thinking is as follows: two with VJ and two without as follows: #5 TT, SG, FJ, O'hair, O'hern, GL, EE, Goose, buy (Buys are Immelman or less in salary, decision pending) #6 TT, EE, Verp., GL, FJ, SG, Luke, O'hern, and buy. #7 TT, VJ, EE, SG, BVP, McD, O'hern, Fjake, and buy. (EE could not be switched to GL) #8 TT, VJ, EE, SG, FJ, Atwal, McD, O'Hern, O'hair (no buy on this one). #5 is pretty ugly with VJ in....instead of GL, EE, and Goose, it would be VJ, Scott, Hensby or a second buy....Luke won't even fit for Hensby. Obviously, this could all change once play begins. I'll be back in the room and checking the board about 4 hours before deadline. If Dim or TLW puts up a 65 early, all of these plans could be for naught. I've looked at the Milwaukee field and it is pretty grim for us (and most people). It's nice to see that Imada is back. Moore is there but I expect to only own him once by then. Of buy prospects, Faxon, BVP, Verp, and O'hair (for me) are scheduled to play although that is a lot to ask of O'hair...I can see him with a W/D. Faxon seems to love to play after flying the Atlantic. One year, he flew over to try to qualify for the Brit, missed out, and flew back and won the tournament opposite the Brit. I am not very enthused about a BC pickup, unless three criteria are met: a stranglehold on the top spot after 36, solid future earnings potential, and a no-brainer, deadweight drop candidate (no problem there). Hank could fit that mold when the smoke clears, but I doubt Crane can (even if successful, he is a threat to disappear into the nearest religious retreat).
