Overview

To enter the MAJORS CHALLENGE via the Contest website, click the appropriate navigational link on the Contest website, agree to abide by the official rules governing the Contest, then follow the instructions to submit your entry, which includes selecting your team name and team for the first event. Upon successfully submitting your entry, you will receive via email your user ID and password to be used for modifying your team as well as accessing results and posting messages on the message boards (BBS).

Deadline
Your Internet entry must be received by 4:00 AM ET, Thursday, April 9, 2009.

The Contest includes four PGA TOUR events spanning 19 weeks as follows:

  • The Masters
    		• April 9-12, 2009
  • US Open Championship
    		• June 18-21, 2009
  • British Open
    		• July 16-19, 2009
  • PGA Championship
    		• August 13-16, 2009

    Costs
    NEW! The MAJORS CHALLENGE is FREE to play. There is a limit of three entries per valid email address. In the event of additional entries, only the last three entries received will be eligible.

    SELECT TEAM

    Overview
     For each of the four PGA TOUR events of the Contest, you must select a team of four unique golfers that you believe will compete in the upcoming event and earn prize money. Based on the results of the event, your team will receive the money earned by your four selected golfers. Except for the occurrence of a canceled or postponed event, you can only pick a specific golfer once during the Contest.

    You must select four unique golfers for each of the four PGA TOUR events, and thus you will have selected 16 different golfers by the Contest's end.

    Available Golfers
    You may choose any listed and/or unlisted golfers for your team. All Q-School graduates will be included as listed golfers. To view the current list of golfers, click here.

    Q-School Graduates
    Any golfer who graduates Q-School and is not on the current list will be added to the list no later than Friday, December 12, 2008.

    Unlisted Golfers
    You may select unlisted golfers at any time before or during the Contest. To request that an unlisted golfer be added to the list in order to be selected, email us at sportsdesk@fanball.com.

    Tie Breaker Prediction
    In addition to your four golfer selections, you will be prompted to predict how much prize money your four golfers will earn in the corresponding event. This prediction will be used to break any ties that occur in the standings for Event Prizes.
